Full description
The orientation aims to prepare students, through training and research. Students will then be able to consider pursuing a phd in the fields of mechanics of materials and structures, metallurgy, and materials transformation processes.
This course is open on the Metz site and for students of Lorraine INP (Polytech and ENSEM) in Nancy.
First Semester
Semester 9 (or 1st semester of M2) of the M2 MMSP consists of providing the skills necessary to prepare a thesis. Each student builds a tailor-made program with fundamental courses and optional choices (three out of seven).
Second Semester
The S10 semester of the M2 MMSP consists of the end-of-studies internship. It lasts 5 months minimum, from February to the end of June minimum. An internship defense is planned following the internship.
