OPEN IN A WORKPLACE
The MM orientation is open to initial training and also to apprenticeship. For students who were apprentices in (first year) M1 in the master degree of Mechanics, this is done as a continuation of the contract. For others, this can be done through a one-year contract for this last year of training.
First semester
Semester 9 (or 1st semester of M2) of the M2 MM consists of a common core of 6 units allowing an affirmation of skills in the field of mechanics/materials and numerical simulation. Transversal skills continue to be offered in English, an introductory course in research. Note that students take a language level test (TOEIC or Widaf). Awareness of life cycle analysis is included in order to train students in the challenges of more eco-responsible design and production.
Second semester
The S10 semester of the M2 MM consists of the end-of-studies internship. It lasts 5 months minimum, from February to the end of June minimum. An internship defense is planned following the internship.
